About Stonehill Awnings
Two Decades of Hands-On Awning Experience
Stonehill Awnings was built on a simple idea: the person selling your awning should know exactly how to install it. Founder Rob has been a welder and installer in the awning industry since 2004, and more than twenty years later, he’s still hands-on with the work — not just running the business from behind a desk.
A Career Built From the Ground Up
Robert Hill, Jr. started in this industry as a welder and installer, learning the trade with his hands before he ever sold a single awning. Over the years, he expanded into sales and project management, but never lost sight of the goal: running a company where the same person who sells the job understands exactly what it takes to install it correctly. With the support of his former employer, Rob launched Stonehill Awnings to offer homeowners and businesses throughout Westchester County something increasingly rare — one point of contact from the first phone call to the final installation.
The Owner Who Still Shows Up to Install
Too many companies separate the sales team from the people doing the actual work, and customers end up caught in the middle. At Stonehill Awnings, we believe that anyone selling an awning should know how to build and install one– not just repeating a sales script.
Why Homeowners & Businesses Trust Stonehill Awnings
- We Stand Behind What We Install. A lot of companies chase new installs and quietly avoid the harder work of keeping older awnings running. Stonehill Awnings does the opposite. If you bought it from us, we're still here for it — Rob isn't going to brush off a question about your awning just because the sale is already closed.
- Quality Products, Built to Last. Stonehill Awnings only sells premium awnings and fabrics designed to hold up season after season, including Sunbrella and Tempotest materials — not the cheapest option on the shelf, but the one that still looks and works great years down the road.
- Integrity, Every Time. Rob runs this business on a simple principle: a happy customer might tell a few friends, but an unhappy one tells everyone. That's why every project is handled with the goal of making sure you get exactly what you paid for — no shortcuts, no upselling, no surprises.
